To drive long-term behavior change your reinforcement program must be based on reinforcement objectives. Your program should include a series of well-balanced push and pull communication moments that focus on achieving each objective.
TIP: When defining your objectives, you must address the 5 reinforcement gaps. Closing each of these gaps is key to achieving your desired behavior change. For more information on how to determine your reinforcement objectives, please download our 10-step guide here.
With the newest Mindmarker update, you will notice that Objectives are now a required item for all Mindmarkers in your programs and assessments. You will also notice that there are 2 types of Objectives that you can create - Private and Public - more information is listed below.
(Read more on Behavioral Assessments HERE)
Private Objectives are objectives that will only be shown to you, the admin, via the Mindmarker client portal. Use Private objectives for you as designers to stay organized and know what Mindmarker is connected to what objective.
Public Objectives can be viewed by participants that are enrolled in your reinforcement programs and assessments. If you use public objectives these objectives are also shown to the learner and used in assessments and show progress. Public Objectives are a requirement for your Behavioral Assessments.
Objectives can be created/edited on a Learning Journey level in the client portal. Do note, for any Public Objectives, the description of the objective that is input in the creation step will be shown to participants via the app. Once an objective is created, you are able to alter/edit including the ability to move from a private objective to a public objective (and vice versa).
